Are sun spots or freckles affecting your confidence? Laser Pigmentation removal can safely assist with reducing the effects of sun exposure, hormone fluctuations, blemishes and scarring stress on your skin, whatever your skin type.
The low down
We recommend Laser Pigmentation Removal for clients with skin types 1-3, with freckles or sun spots. Not available in WA. For our WA clients looking for pigmentation removal, you can purchase or book our IPL Rejuvenation treatment.
Our Laser Pigmentation Removal costs $159 AUD for a single treatment, with great value packages and programs also available. You can find more detailed laser pigmentation treatment prices below.
You’ll see an improvement after 1 treatment, but a minimum program of 3 – 6 treatments is recommended. For best value and results, our Skin Journeys™ combine in-clinic treatments with at-home skincare.
Laser pigmentation removal procedures require very little downtime. Any sensitivity or warmth usually resolves within 2 – 4 hours. In the 48 hours following treatment, it’s normal for pigmentation to appear darker than before and to continue darkening. After that, scabs or crusts will develop over the treated areas before shedding naturally. Within 14 days, healing is complete and your fantastic new skin is revealed.
Rest assured: Laser Pigmentation Removal isn’t painful. The concentrated heat from the laser can create a warm prickly sensation which some people say is uncomfortable but not distressing. Any post-treatment discomfort usually settles within 2 to 4 hours.
In most cases, we recommend a program of treatments spaced four weeks apart.

- For clients in QLD and WA, prior to your first pigment removal treatment with us, you are required to have your pigment checked by a GP or dermatologist to check it is safe to be removed. Please bring your clearance letter to your appointment.

FAQs
To learn more, book a complimentary Skin Consultation with Clear Skincare. We’ll discuss your goals and determine the most suitable treatment plan for you.
Immediately after the treatment, you may experience some mild discomfort and redness which usually settles within a couple of hours. Post-treatment, the pigmentation will appear darker than before and may deepen in colour for 48 hours. A crust or scab will eventually form and gradually flake away.
This process can take up to 14 days. During this time, Red Cover BB Cream can be used to help camouflage the treated areas. After this time, your skin will look more even and refreshed.
Any hyperpigmentation that occurs as a result of sun damage can be removed and, with careful ongoing care, it can be held at bay. Hormonal pigmentation can be supressed, and treatments can remove the pigment that’s present, but laser treatment cannot resolve the underlying hormonal condition.
