The low down

Warm 1-2 pumps in the fingertips then sweep over the face, eye area and neck to allow pollution, makeup, and impurities to melt and dissolve away. With a little warm water emulsify the oil into a milk and gently massage before removing with the Aesthetics Rx Microfibre pads. The perfect cleansing solution for night-time make-up and grime removal, and a skin comforting cleanser as the first step in your morning skincare regime.

these simple steps:

  • Unscrew the lid, squeezing any serum inside the pipette into the bottle before removing the pipette from the bottle. The pipette should now be empty.
  • Squeeze the air out first: Before placing the dropper into the bottle, squeeze the rubber top to expel any air from the pipette.
  • Insert the dropper: While still holding the rubber top, place the dropper into the bottle.
  • Release the squeeze: Let go of the rubber top while the dropper is submerged in the serum. This creates a vacuum effect, drawing the serum up into the pipette.
  • Dispense with control: Lift the dropper out and gently squeeze the top again to release the desired amount of serum into your fingertips.

New look, same skin-loving science. We are transitioning through a complete packaging transformation, and as we move into this new chapter for Aesthetics Rx®, you’ll notice our new designs over the coming 6 months. This re-design is a positive step, especially for the environment; you can learn more here. Meaningful change takes time, especially when done with care, and because this is a phase-in product by product, your order may include a combination of our current and /or new packaging designs. Rest assured, the product inside remains the exact same high-quality formulation you already know and trust; it is just the packaging that has changed. If your package arrives containing our original design, it means you're helping move through our current products, but if you spot our new look, you're among the first to see it, and we’d love your feedback. The Anti-Pollution Cleansing Oil pump requires initial priming before the first use. Once primed, your pump will dispense consistently throughout product use. Initial pump priming required: 20-50 actuations. This is standard for our recyclable polypropylene pump system with oil-based formulations.

Why does my cleansing oil pump require priming?

Our Anti-Pollution Cleansing Oil features a fully recyclable polypropylene pump system. We've transitioned from metal to polypropylene pumps across our range, ensuring the entire packaging system can be recycled through standard kerbside programs. While this means the pump requires initial priming, it eliminates mixed-material waste and supports circular economy principles. Due to the rich, viscous nature of our oil formulation and the sustainable pump design, initial priming of 20-50 pumps is required to create the vacuum seal necessary for consistent dispensing. This is a one-time process; once primed, your pump will work effectively for the life of the product. Polypropylene pumps typically have looser tolerances than metal pumps, creating more air gaps in the mechanism that need to be evacuated before product flow begins.
