Important Update – Exfoliating Gel Cleanser with 8% Glycolic Acid

Important Update – Exfoliating Gel Cleanser with 8% Glycolic Acid

Recently we became aware that the ingredient list on our Exfoliating Gel Cleanser sold between February 2024 – 15th July 2024 had been printed incorrectly on the product packaging and our website. All product currently being dispatched is correctly labelled and does not fall into the recall. The correct ingredient list is as follows: Aqua (Water), Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Glycolic Acid, Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, Glycerin, Potassium Hydroxide, Sodium Chloride, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Sorbate, Disodium EDTA, Propanediol, Lycium Barbarum Fruit Extract, Sodium Benzoate.

Whilst the product integrity, quality and performance is completely unaffected by the printing error we want to ensure our customers were aware of the correct ingredients. You may of course continue to use the product, but please just make a note of the ingredient list we have provided here.

Why the product is recalled?
This product doesn’t comply with the mandatory standard for cosmetic ingredients labelling. The ingredient list is incorrect. There is a risk of allergic reaction if consumers are exposed to ingredients they are sensitive or allergic to.

Consumers will not be able to check the ingredients list to identify the possible cause and seek appropriate treatment.

What to do:
1. Stop using the product and return to a Clear Skincare clinic for a full refund.
2. Send us an email or phone us if you are unable to return the product or have sold or gifted it to another person.
