Rosacea is a skin inflammation that causes redness and visible blood vessels, and often develops with age. But there are other causes of redness too, including acne, that affect all ages. Our Laser Redless Treatment is a safe and effective method to correct and reduce permanent facial flushing.

What to Expect

Not sure what’s right for you?
With personalised care, real results and a simple approach, Clear Skincare makes my self care pure joy. And damn, that feels good.

The low down
Our Laser Redless Treatment is generally suitable for all skin types 1–6, however skin types 4–6 should discuss their treatment options and treatment plan with one of our experienced therapists. Not available in WA. For our WA clients looking for redness reduction, you can purchase or book our IPL Rejuvenation treatment.
The ideal number of sessions depends on the symptoms of each individual but generally ranges from 6-8 effective treatments. In many cases, the visible signs of improvement are immediate. Rosacea may reoccur over time, and maintenance treatments should be scheduled when the first signs of redness appear. For best value and results, our Skin Journeys™ combine in-clinic treatments with at-home skincare.
The heat used in this procedure can cause the treatment area to be flushed immediately after treatment. There may be some residual heat which will dissipate over the following 24-48 hours. Other side effects are very rare.
Good news, this is a comfortable treatment with no downtime. You may experience a warm tingling sensation, and some clients say it feels like warm water on the skin.
We recommend 4 weekly treatments, then reducing to fortnightly treatments.
- Avoid sunbathing, solariums and fake tan for 2 weeks before your treatment. Not suitable for clients who are pregnant and breast feeding.
- Avoid active skincare products containing cosmeceutical retinol, topical Vitamin A or hydroquinone for three days beforehand.
- Cosmetic Aesthetics clients should leave two weeks between their last treatment and laser treatment.
- For Fitzpatrick skin types 4+ you will need to prepare your skin for 2 weeks prior with a tyrosinase inhibitor such as our Pigment Perfect Serum..
Throughout your course of laser treatments, it’s important to keep the skin protected and to avoid sun exposure.
